Yesterday, I had my camera all set up on the tripod to take close-ups of maple tree flowers when this female mallard came towards me.
They now associate my presence with food.
I managed to change the setting of the camera and take a few of her before going inside to get seeds.
Living in the countryside, it is not uncommon for wild fowl to visit.
This gives me an opportunity to observe and learn more about my local wild life.
Right now the turkeys are spreading out for spring duties.
There are more fights between the males guarding their territory and harems.

I took Strutting males last year through a window.
It is nearing that time of the year again.
The males are strutting and fighting for their territory.
